The Rosemount 3408 radar level gauge is an FMCW radar suitable for level measurement and overfill prevention in many industries, including chemicals.

Smart diagnostics enable proactive maintenance planning, and Bluetooth connectivity makes configuration and maintenance easy. It is possible to perform manual or automatic verification at regular intervals from the control room without interrupting the process. Using onboard capabilities, proof tests can be conducted both on-site and remotely. To be used in safety-critical applications, it has been tested in accordance with NAMUR standards and has obtained third-party certification compliant with IEC61508.
